0% financing through TOYOTA for 36 months ...
on the YARIS . This can save you hundreds of dollars depending on local bank rates , credit rating , etc.. Example : YARIS : $14,000 , loan rate 5.9% for 3 years = $15,309 , loan at 0% for 3 years = $14,000 . A savings of $1,309 . That's a nice REBATE .

I'm surprised such an offer exists considering the much discussed shortage of Yarii when the gas prices shot up earlier this year.

As of right now, i dont think there is a shortage of Yarii since every time i drive by my local dealership there are 30+ LB's and sedans.

I heard on the radio that car sales in the USA are at the lowest figures since 1942! No wonder they are offering interest free cars for three years, even on Yaris.

In light of the recent news rumors...... that the Gov't is going to re-consider allowing an interest write off for car loans once again...... I am not surprised.

What's your source? I talked with Toyota Financing just last week and was told the 0% did not apply to the Yaris (despite the fact that my local dealership's ad made it appear that way!)... Cheers! M2 |

seen it on T.V. during MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL . The YARIS was shown during the commercial for the 0% . I just looked at their website , no mention of that . If that's the case , that's very deceptive of TOYOTA . What a bunch of ! Shame on you TOYOTA ! Never should ass-u-me . Makes an of YOU and ME ! We were seriously thinking of getting a 4 door hatch after seeing the ad . Thanks TOYOTA ! Well done !

decided to call a TOYO dealer in PENNSYLVANIA about the 0% . Was told only for the '08 sedan . So , it's 1/2 the truth . Be fine if only wanted a sedan . Still could save well over a thousand dollars in interest . They also said $500 cash back or 0% for 3 years , 2.9% for 4 years , and 4.9% for 5 years . Bummed out tho . Was hoping be for the '09 4 door L.B. as well . Have to play the waiting game to see if rebates or no/low interest rates apply to '09s in coming months .

called another TOYO dealer in N.Y. state and the $500 cash back or 0% ( 3 yrs. ) , 2.9% ( 4 yrs. ) , or 3.9% ( 5 yrs. ) applies to the '08 Liftback and sedan . Therefore , it must vary by region . So , give dealership a call for varification .

You want deception? Heck, I am taking a graduate level course in deception at the moment! This is the ad that prompted me to contact the dealership...
"0% APR Financing For Up To 60 months" right next to "On All New 2008 and 2009 Toyotas" (emphasis mine). They claimed they didn't realize it could be misconstruded as applying to all vehicles, despite it saying that! By the way, since the dealership ran the ad, I felt it was OK to post it here without blocking out the dealer's name or phone number. Cheers! M2 |

The national commercial shows every model BUT the Yaris. My understanding is that it does not apply to Yaris here in Dallas, but now that the 09's are rolling out, I expect they'll do what they can on 08's. I haven't seen too many 08's left here, especially HB's. When I bought my HB at the end of September, it was the ONLY 5-speed in DFW. Another dealer got one a few weeks later, but they're hard to come by.

Ouch, I'm paying 7.5% interest through a local bank. Kinda wish I had waited around for this, if it applies to the Yaris though.

Maybe where you are, but down here there are no more than a couple of "Yarii" on the lots. I just bought mine two weeks ago, and some dealers claiming they had a dozen or so only had a handful (four or so) when we got there. Despite gas being under two dollars a gallon here, they are still selling like hotcakes and were not negotiating! We went to three three dealers and each said the same thing!
Cheers! M2 |
