3D Maxpider Kagu Floor Mats
You need them. Stop reading, go buy them. Seriously, HUGE thank you again to hotracer_05 for posting about these in his build thread. He got them for his 3rd gen and is very happy with them. I got them for my 2nd gen and am in love.
I've had my eyes on the Weathertech all-weather mats for some time, but always hesitated on pulling the trigger on them because of the very utilitarian design style. Just didn't think they'd look great in a small, passenger car --especially mine, given my taste in mods. In my opinion, the 3D Maxpider Kagu Floor Mats are far more appropriate for this application. Unlike the Weathertech's, the 3D's are cut to fit my year. They also offer a triple layer design that intrigued me and go far enough up the dead pedal to cover the wear spot and prevent further wear. Here are a couple, heavy light, pics I took after putting them in a bit ago. Not my best photography work, but I'll try to update with better shots when the sun goes down a bit. |

Looks good. I wish you could get them without the company logo on them though - or perhaps allow custom lettering/badging options instead at extra cost.
Are those the all-weather 3D ones, or the regular ones? |

All-weather, and I actually like the 3D logo.

I have a very similar brand of mats installed in my Soul. Not long ago I brain farted and left vehicle sitting overnight with the sunroof open. It rained heavily. All I ended up with was wet seats, water in cup holders and a large amount pooled in the mats. The carpet essentially was bone dry.

Lucky me, no. A couple of breezy days followed so I was able to leave the vehicle sit with every orifice open.
Point of the story; these mats are awesome. Fit like WeatherTech at a fraction of the cost. The fact that the tray is lined with carpet makes them, imo, look far better than WeatherTech.

Wow! Those are really nice floormats! I think I'm going to have to check if I can get a set for the iQ.

Interesting. I got my pair at AutoAnything for just under $85. Still not what you'd call cheap, but cheaper than the OEM carpet mats, more durable and better looking, imho. Worth every penny!

that's a good price, but it's not $85 that must have just been for fronts... |

They do look really slick. I like to drive barefoot, so I need some carpet to dig my toes into when they're not busy. I just looked, and they have a carpet version, too! I've gladly paid over $100 for new mats on other cars. Good mats are worth the money, IMO. |

Have weather tech and there good. Ask said they do look massive for the Yaris. They are 5 years old and have held up nicely. Noticed on the back of mat the material has started to feel sticky, kind of soft. You can push your finger nail into the material there made of only on back. Maybe it is to keep them from sliding around. Its there top of the line 3D TYPE. Yours are really nice in comparison.
