220,000 mile 2010 sedan, AT... maintenance?
tl;dr: What is the BEST online reference for a Yaris maintenance schedule, perhaps including "frequent mistakes"?
I'm tired of mechanics/dealerships warning me that this or that needs to be flushed or changed or replaced, only to have the next guy say I am a fool, and so on and so forth. I'm just a gal who commutes, A LOT. I need a list I can trust implicitly and I know this forum is where to find it. I just can't find it! Thank you all so much. :)

Start with the schedule in your owners manual. If a mechanic suggests something not in there, don't do it.
You can always consult the list if you get a recommendation to have some suspicious work done by a mechanic.

It is only suggested that it be inspected every 30,000 miles in the manual.

Not for normal operation, no.
Change it for severe operation in hot or cold weather.

OK, did some deep digging. I would like to know what you think of what I've come up with for my planned major service appointment.
LAST MAJOR SERVICE @ 159,000 miles: - 30,000 mile service - "world standard transmission fluid exchange" - "fuel induction service" (I now know this is a waste) Plugs were replaced @ 132,000 miles. PLANNED APPOINTMENT NOW @ 220,000 miles - *updated to add proposed cost per the dealership*: - 60,000 mile service exactly as outlined in the Yaris manual* - $67.99. I will really have to make sure they are covering all of the bullet points in the Yaris maintenance manual, because their quoted service doesn't include coolant replacement. - transmission fluid drain/replace; will make sure to turn down any offer of a flush (EDIT:I checked fluid and it seems fine, but I may follow some found advice to drain and replace roughly every 50,000 miles) - $105 to $110 - coolant drain/replace: will make sure to turn down any offer of a flush - $85. this is supposed to be included in the 60,000 miles service, but isn't. Situation: - EDIT: transmission checked out fine by me, based on this thread: http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36538 - I put almost 40K miles a year on my Yaris, most of which is 65-85mph highway driving. - There is some exhaust noise which I'll have checked, but otherwise I get a smooth ride with no issues. - I'll be taking it to a dealership; I have a recall to have done anyway, and I thought this would be good practice to question what they might tell me I need this time instead of just feeling like an ignorant dummy * I can replace the air filter myself Thanks in advance for your opinions, everyone :)
