Go to any autoshop that sells lightbulbs, and on the back of the package, it should say "DOT Approved" if they are indeed approved.
Oh, and just a note, some people do not like it when others type in all caps. It is considered online yelling |

Thanks for the replies. I just wanted to know if someone could toss out a model number or certain bulb that I could just Google.
On a side note, I was just waiting for someone to politely ask me to turn off my caps. I apologize if having my caps on was a disturbance to anyone. |

Had To, lol. I'm using Luminics H1 Bulbs (Blue High White low) for my projectors and I do believe they're DOT legal.

I just purchased the Sylvania Silverstars (9003SU).. Installation was pretty easy, as I have small hands at my disposal. They do not say they are DOT legal, but it does read, "legal for on-road use." So I decided to buy them. Also, I had bought these awesome LEDs that change color for my driving lights..... I figured that the brightness of the Silverstars should drown them out when I'm driving at night.

Cool. Didn't know you were looking for the bulb type. hahaha.
But yeah, just turn drive around with those LEDs in blue or red. They will still show and are illegal colors. |

Get some white LEDs from V-LEDs. There's a thread about LEDs around here somewhere that lists the type of LEDs we can use.

If you can find HiLED LEDs in your area, they're awesome. I'm using them for my map lights, dome light, and license plate lights. Oznium has great LEDs from what many people tell me
