replacement bulb question
i did read the write up but my question is if i replace the bulb with a higher watts, will it affect anything besides possibly the wiring harness and the fuses cuz i replaced the 55w with a 80w bulb...will i have any problems???

Yes you might have an issue with melted Harness and burnt fuses but other user should more about it.

yeah, you may have a issue...I have been working at auto shops for almost 10 years now, and I have seen in happen numerous times, esp headlights.
if the watts are close, you shouldnt have issues, not to say you never will. for example to get rid of the yellow look on my white car the lisence plate lights gave off I switched the bulbs and they are 1w higher on each. I most likely wont ever have a issue, but there is always a chance of it.
