RS Bumper and US Bumper Differences
I have did a bit of a search and still haven't gotten a solid conclusion or answer as to the difference between the RS (JDM) bumper and the US bumpers. A thorough explaination would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance!

The RS bumper is different, plain and simple, the USDM bumper is equivalent to the U/X/F/B/I'LL bumper, way I understand it, the bumper supports are different on the RS than the other trims, the rear bumper is quite a bit different too, and has integrated rear fog light.

RS has one big opening in the middle of the bumper, US bumper has three small openings across the bottom of the bumper, one wide in the middle, and two small openings on either side, either with or without fog lights in them. There is also a difference in the rear bumpers. Note that all the pics of these cars have some sort of bodykit on them, but the fronts have just a lip, as do the rears. The JDM RS rear bumper has a little different contour to it, with added lights.

From what I've read and my understanding as far as the N/A Yarii go, they are "longer" just because of our crash test requirements, but I believe its just the bumper that is modified for N/A so the car is longer obviously not by much. If that makes sense?

i think the question was concerning the rear bumper itself. but those side-by-side shots are great.
i think the us front and RS rear would be a great combo!

that RS Bumper looks to be as long as a US (non RS) bumper, (comparing to non-US and non-RS). The source from kenbow's site, I think, says the fenderline is different... but the english is a little awkward so maybe he might be saying something else? ^^
*crosses fingers and hopes rs bumper can fit usdm specs >.> |

i think the bumpers should be swapable...
but due to longer usdm bumpers, i assumed the bumper beams inside would be bigger too... you might need to get non-usdm bumper beams along with the bumpers... something like this...? ![]() http://www.bulletproofautomotive.com...il.php?ID=5210 |
