Angry problems with the stupid flowmeter

hey guys. I put a 3' inch pbc pipe intake to the bottom but I can't turn the car on cuz of the flowmeter can u guys tell me where exactly do I put it or what do I hace 2 do to make it work its really frustrating trying to make it work and to seal it good too but they told me it gives more hp than a regular cold air intake cuz its bigger

You need a 2.25" pipe diameter on the section were the MAF seats. If you go bigger you will messed up the readings and your car will bog an died.
Who ever told you that, clearly doesn't know how this car works.


El diametro del tubo en la seccion a donde va el MAF (sensor de masa de aire) tiene que ser de maximo 2.25" si lo haces mas grande que eso te va dar ese fallo.

Este carro no tiene un sensor de flujo de aire, tiene un sensor de masa de aire... son cosas distintas. El MAF es mucho mas sensible a variaciones.

Un intake de PVC no te va dar mas potencia solo por ser mas grande. Mejor te compras alguno de los Intakes que fue diseņado exclusivamente para el Yaris y listo

no importa donde lo ponga? si lo pongo en el princicio de trottel con un tubo 2.25 a 3 pulgadas prenderia sin problemas?

Lo ideal seria ponerlo como a 5 pulgadas del throttel.

Lo mas importante es el diametro del tubo que sea de no mas de 2.25"

Tienes que fijarte como esta el sensor instalado y usar respetar las mismas medidas.

Lo que podrias hacer usar una seccion de tubo de unas 9 pulgadas de largo y de 2.25" de diametro y pones el sensor justo en el medio... luego a donde acaba esta seccion de tubo, podes agregar tubo de 2.5" hasta abajo a donde pongas el filtro

Sinceramente... te saldria mucho mejor compra uno de los intakes que existen para el Yaris... Los mismos ya fueron diseņados para dar la mejor ganancia en potencia.

i put from the trottel a 2 inch tube where the MAF sits and went to 3 inch to the bottom and it works fine something like this > =={[[[[
