Ordering a 5spd manual. Would like to get some nice pedals for it in advance, do I have to get ones specifically for the yaris or are pedals like OBX universal?

Pedals are going to be different car to car, so it's a good idea to by model specific parts. Here's a link to the OBX ones we have. Hope this helps.

Those look like nice ones and they are perfect for my new 07 yaris! How do those mount? Do they screw and clamp? Basically i want something that i can remove later on without people knowing I ever put those in.

They are designed to slip over the existing pedals and can be removed whenever you'd like.

What is your typical shipping times for orders to Canada?

We usually ship the same day and depending on which side of Canada you're on, it can take from 2 to 5 days to reach customs. Hope that helps.

Also I don't want to do any drilling or unreversable damage to the pedals? Do they just clamp in?

I bought these ones off of ebay for 21 bucks shipped. They included a deadpedal that I reworked and threw into my car. I'll post pics tomorrow.

I like them, they feel nice, they look nice and clean. They have the rubber grips which help your shoes feel secure.

the ones i have, each petal comes with a small metal bracket that you clamp and tighten onto the original pedal. you can remove it whenever you like. the actual pedal itself bolts onto the metal piece that was just attached to your pedals.

as for feel, i noticed right away that the pedals were more sensitive. with my stock pedals, my clutch felt extremely short and 5 people (including me) who knew how to drive manual couldnt start the car cuz my clutch had to be nudge to the very back where it's touching the back wall. Now I have no problem and the people who drove my car again asked me if i adjusted my clutch but i just told them i put sports pedals.

Is it snug? no moving and vibrations? I hope they don't feel loose if you're just clamping them in place.

Do they make the original pedals wider?

They're pretty snug.. Mine are slightly crooked cuz when i was installing it, i was installing it in my carport at night with a flashlight (too excited to put them on, couldnt wait for the morning!!). The instruction sheet also said to tighten each pedal every 1000km to ensure safety. And yes, they do make your pedals a little bit wider.
