Fiat 500C - It's a little convertible

http://www.cardealernews.co.uk/2009/...nge-announced/

I want to know when they say "mpg" down in "Fiat 500c Fuel Consumption Figures" what do they mean.

This is one cool little car! I would love to have one and the new Chrysler/Fiat partnership may bring these little babies to the US.

Also the Panda 4X4 looks cool as hell! Capable off road too! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAg4DdXAp7Y

The 500 is the one Fiat model that will come to the US as a Fiat. If it sells I'm sure they will bring over other variants of it like the convertible model.

Urban = City
Extra-Urban = Highway
mpg = miles per gallon
gallon = imperial gallon = 1.2 US Gallons

So its miles per imp. gallon. Thats still some awesome mileage for that little sucker! 54MPG(IMP) will be about 45MPG(US)

The Multijet Diesel version gets... 78.5MPG(IMP) highway! Thats 65.4MPG(US)!

This could dig Dodge out of the hole. Selling sweet little cars that get awesome MPGs! Who would have thought... hehe

That's one expensive little bugger! The British price is about USD $18,500 for the smallest, cheapest version with the 1.2L engine.

That's pretty darn high! I hope in a few years with the new US market they can make them a little more affordable or they will never compete.

They aren't going to lower the price, they have no reason to. They intend to sell small numbers of them just as Smarts and Minis are sold in the US. They aren't high volume cars.

Selling small cars isn't going to get Chrysler out of any hole, especially not small Fiats! Selling good cars is what will get Dodge out of the hole, good cars in ALL sizes.
