Questioning about Idling - Toyota Yaris Forums

Hi I have a Toyota Vitz(Yaris) `06, automatic (cvt) 1.0ltr, i ve connected it to a computer and the idling speed is about 750rpm , which is normal. But when you stop and put your leg on the brake it vibrates for a small while and then it settle.

Is it normal or is it a problem ? And if you compare it with another yaris 1.3ltr does it vibrate the same ?

My 08 Yaris LB used to do this all the time. I started filling up with premium fuel about a year ago and it stopped..

seems to do that on all toyota engines. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Yeah my 09 Yaris with 1.5 liter and auto does it too sometimes. Cant be normal because not all such cars do it. Wonder what it is?

Sounds normal to me :)

My Echo does the same.

My Yaris does it. My wifes Carmy doesnt do it. Neither does my sons '00 ECHO.

My yaris does the same thing when idle or turning the gear to go reverse. lol
