Toyota Performance Magazine

Hi All,

Thought I'd post up a little intro, but I won't go into too much detail yet as we've contacted your club admin and waiting for a response, and we don't want to be seen as spamming. I'd also like to point out that we are not another owners club we are an actual printed magazine.

Who are we? We're a new printed magazine solely dedicated to Performance Toyotas past, present and future, TOYOTA PERFORMANCE MAGAZINE, and we're launching very soon. I'm the sub-editor John Gaskell, and I have 1 Toyota MR2s, and a Supra VVTi TT6. My editor is the owner of 3 MR2's and the rest of my team are all Toyota owners, you can read a bit more about myself and the team over on our website. We've also successfully published an all MR2 publication for the last 3 years, MR2 Only Magazine.

From browsing around here, I'm hoping we are going to be featuring a few of your Yaris' in the near future, and I look forward to seeing some posted on our website, you're all very welcome to post photos and potential feature requests. We'll cover as many shows as possible, but are looking for Club Representatives to come onboard to cover shoes that we can't manage.

Hopefully I'll be back with permission in due course to let you know more about Toyota Performance Magazine, as we are prepared to become affiliates, but in the meantime you can find out more, and post up your photos at:

Hello everyone!
Just catching up on a few things, we were down for a couple of hours last week, due to us having to add some security to the operating system on the host. Nothing major - just took a little longer than the one hour I thought!

We were at the first round of Time Attack yesterday, at Oulton Park. Our sponsor team, Garage Whifbitz, took 2nd and 3rd places in the FI RWD class. Excellent result. All will be documented in the magazine!

Seems quite kool. $12 for a magazine is more than I personally want to spend, but that is just me. If it was printed a little closer to home it might be sold for a little bit less money and I would be all over it.

I wish the magazine great success.

Thanks for the kind wishes, but we do hear what you say about the costs, it's the shipping that really kills us. Sorry about that.

Is there any chance that TPM will be available for electronic subscription via something like Zinio?

Great news for all of our overseas readers - Over the last month we've been experimenting on shipping methods for 'zone 2 world zone' We've sent out copies of TPM to friends in the U.S, Australia and Asia by SURFACE MAIL, and have been monitoring and recording the time taken to be received, and it only takes a few days longer than our usual 'Air Mail' service, but costs us a lot less, which of course is a saving we can pass on to you our readers.

Therefore:-
Individual issue is now: £5.85GBP (Including surface mail shipping)
http://toyotaperformancemagazine.com...-Current-Issue

subscription (6 issues) is £33.00GBP (Including surface mail shipping)
http://toyotaperformancemagazine.com...ontent.php?128

World Zone 2 includes:
North and South America, Africa, Asia, Middle East and China World, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Indonesia and Pacific Islands, in fact all countries outside of Europe.

$8.76 USD per issue isn't bad especially since, i would consider, its a special interest mag. we aren't as popular as dime a dozen hondas and toyota doesnt really focus on a small performance based motor like the vtec civics and related models
