Oh by the way i'm safe. The floods are in North East Australia in the state of Queensland. I'm in South East Australia in Victoria (no floods here......)

that's freaking nuts man...honestly it's amazing in the sense of the power that water can hold, but it's so devestating that's happening to so many people's property, and worse yet the lives that are lost

Check out the dam levels. Nearly all of them are at 100%+ and spilling water out. http://www.seqwater.com.au/public/dam-levels
