Replacing Radio
Hello. I'm sorry if that been asked before, but I have some questions regarding installing a new radio in my 09 Yaris Sedan.
I'm having someone else do the actual install since I'm not too experienced in car electronics. I'm just buying the parts. I'm putting in the Kenwood KDC-HD548U. Since the Yaris currently has that integrated radio, I figured I would need a new bezel. I went ahead and ordered this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI...m=300543283129 I wasn't paying attention and I realized that the bezel I bought is a double DIN, while the radio is a single DIN one. I did get this Metra kit here: http://www.metraonline.com/part/Toyo...sh_kit_99-8216. Does anyone know if that kit will work with the bezel I bought so I can install a single DIN radio? If not, is there anything I can get to make it work? Otherwise, if I go with a more official Toyota one (like the 55405-52640), will that work better? Thanks in advance for any help! |

Those will work. The kit you bought has a pocket underneath to fill the extra space. I would suggest trying the search function. Pretty much any question you can ask has already been answered.
