How has your Yaris been holding up?
I check these boards somewhat often and they are a great resource on all things Yaris and more. I'm wondering how your car has held up since you got it. I bought mine brand new in August 2007 and it has been great ever since with zero work beyond oil changes and tires. I'm at 75000 miles now and will be at 100000 by Christmastime and there are only a couple interior rattles when the car is cold. I'm even on the original brake pads with about 65% remaining.

Amazing. bought mine new in aug of 2010. Autocrossed it that same weekend, not even 500 miles on it.
Only issues I have come across are from my own personal hands. I did the NST underdrive pulleys on ALT, water pump and crank... started making squeels and sounded like bad bearing in either alt or waterpump but when i swaped to my oem ones the noise went away.. in the process I arched the alt wire and blew my ALT fuse.. stupid me.

If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important. |

Thank Toyota for almost perfect car. If it only made its own gas. But its still great with prices going up. Your the envy of your neighborhood. Just keep telling them no its not for sale.

Pretty much what I do! Transportation doesn't get much more economical than this. I've been averaging 38-45 MPG over the life of the car and couldn't be much happier.
