How much are you willing to spend?
What kind of ride can you put up with? How fast do you want to go? The first two answers will directly relate to the last one. |

He told me he was going to buy the Whiteline bars instead, but if enough of us wanted the UR he would re-order! I personally would rather have the UR bar cause it's a plain and simple design thats easily installed. I guess we need to take a vote on here to kinda show that theres a need for the UR to be stocked........

(Sorry OP if this is off topic)

I dont think im interested in the Whiteline at all - I had a RacingBeat sway on my Mazda2 that was a very similar design and it constantly required tightening of the 'U' brackets that go around the beam. Im not saying the Whiteline is that way, but it definitely made me admire the simpler design of the TRD and the UR. Perhaps its a better design? IDK. Hey guys sorry for giving the wrong impression about this particular item of discussion. Yes Garm did say he would check what others were saying before re-ordering the UR bars, but in my little world of things moving too slowly, I jumped the gun and started a Poll to check interest, I did not know he was checking interest another way. What I do understand as a long time Toyota owner an racing enthusiast, is the limited after market for curtain models and very short production runs for particular cars. My '87 Celica GTS for example, check the after market and see what you find, I have had to order straight from Japan, Australia, and the UK just to get performance parts. So when a loyal Vendor mentions he might concider dropping a product unless theres enough interest, it sends shock waves up my spine and hopes that others feel as I do!!
Please keep supporting our Vendors and pray the Yaris doesn't go the way of some early Celicas!!!! racerb

^ Thank you, and no worries at all. Your poll is helpful either way.
We're a small shop so it's difficult to carry product that sells slowly (mostly because we had to pay for it up front) -- that's the only reason for not going full throttle on the re-order.

Hi,
I appologize for bringing up the old thread instead of creating new one. I have a similar questions but with added wheels. Money wont be an issue but my pocket aint that deep lol. Best bang for buck. Just need some of your opinions. Im considering getting the XXR 522 16x7 +35 or +25. For tires 195/50 or 205/45? Opinions? Coilovers or struts/lowering spring combo? Which one would you recommend? Little bit bouncy is ok not too bouncy lol. Im looking for a decent drop 2-3inch maybe without rolling fenders if possible? With that kind of drop would it rub? Thanks, |
