Auto Transmission Oil
Guys,
I have a 07 Belta (Yaris Sedan) Automatic. Bought it with 13k Kms on it and after 2years i have clocked only 25K kms. I am thinking of changing the Transmission Oil but am getting different opinions from different mechanics. Some are saying no need to change and getting all type of advice after how much Kms i should change the transmission oil. I would like to know what you guys think and if i need to change it what type of oil should i use and what safety precautions should i take. Thanks |

No need to change it after only 2 years. Normally you shouldn't even start worrying about it until at least 50,000 miles which is about 80,000km.
Unless you are doing some extreme type of driving on in some really extreme desert or north pole type conditions it should be fine for a long time coming.

I think there's a sticker wrapped right around the dipstick saying there's no need to change it till 100,000miles?
