Adding extra injectors is a bandaid... unless one of those injectors happens to be hooked to a tank of nitrous. Then its more like a full body cast.

The E-manage should come with any TURBO kit you buy for your car... If you drop around $3,000 and don't get one... you’re getting ripped off...
You don't need it without Forced Induction... If you want something for Naturally Aspirated Yarii... look at the: http://www.jscspeed.com/index.html?/.../pe_camcon.htm ![]() |

Nut: find me a kit for under 3K with a emanage & intercooler & I will buy it for you. You aperantly have no experiance with turbo kits. I am not trying to insult you, you just need to be more realistic with your posts. Turbo kits cost money period.

http://www.epsturbos.com/SCION-STAND...BO-TS25B1.view It's for a Scion Xb... but I'll convert it... When I get home to my Home PC... I can get maybe 5 or 6 other sites that show eManage for under 3 grand... but this is the best I can do from work...from memory... Since ZPI and Why are the only 2 that I have found that make Turbos for the Yaris... and they are still in production... I have to go with Scion as a Determaning factor... ZPI: http://www.zeropointindustries.net/s...roducts_id=211 WHY: http://www.whyindustries.com/store/p...products_id=51 ok...ok your right... These last 2 are a bit more then $3,000 I have been mistaken before... But anything is Possible... if you just look around! But I guess your right... I aperantly have no experiance with turbo kits. Not yet... give me a couple more months! and I will be able to say that I have baught one...Installed one... and drive a car with one! ![]() |

Good try Nut but that first turbo does not have a emanage:
What the TSI Extreme Kit comes with: 1 Garrett Turbo w/internal wastegate @ 6psi 1 High Nickel Composite Cast Exhaust Manifold 1 Downpipe 1 Fuel Pressure Regulator 1 MAP Unit 1 Oil Return Line and Fitting 1 Air Filter w/piping 1 Injection Control Unit w/Turbo Timer 1 Injector Interface Block w/Injectors 1 Blow Off Valve 1 High flow intercooler w/mounting hardware, pressure tubes, rubber hose connections and clamps Comes with everything necessary to install! Kit is a complete bolt-on! Good luck converting it, nothing from the xb will work. |

ZPI still has one...for a little over $3,000... So I was $500 off... But in my defense it was on sale last month for 3Grand! That just shows how much ZPI rocks...
Alright so I'll make you a deal... I won't make you buy one for me... If take back your statement about me not knowing what I'm talking about! I have done my research on Turbos, but I am no Expert... But you have to admit I was close! ![]() |

![]() I believe the real concern is how much performance you can squeeze out of that Cam Controller from JSCSpeed. Anyone have any experience with them? |

Didn't you guys read that huge post on the Scion forums where the guy tried several mods and dynoed the results? He tried the camcom thing and could not make any power. IIRC the stock ecu kept fighting it. Perhaps the Greddy unit works better?

I know on newer Miata's changing the VVT setting did almost nothing on engines that were only mildly modified. My gut tells me it'll be the same here. If you want to gain some power leave the VVT alone and lean out the A/F mixture, and tune the ignition setting for 91-93 octane fuel. |

Yeah... well my penis is bigger then yours! ![]() Sorry... I had to take it there... it’s probably not…But You stumped me... I'm still trying to learn all this shit...and to be honest, it's the real reason I bought a Yaris... Now-a-days it seems (To me anyway) most cars are getting more and more complicated to work on... So I needed to start at the bottom! And one thing I have learned so far... Is that this Bottom... is on the top of my list of cars I have owned! 1990 Volvo 740GL 1991 Nissan Sentra 1992 Toyota Corolla 2001 Hyundai Sonata 2000 Nissan Maxima Alright...maybe not the most impressive list... But I love my 2007 Yaris more then that 2000 Maxima! ![]() |

![]() I was just messing with ya anyway. Everyone has to start somewhere. I highly recommend picking up the book Maximum Boost by Corky Bell. Great book for learning about turbos and will help if you want to try the DIY turbo thing too. (In case you get adventurous) (Thermal expansion is the primary reason the hot side spins, most people mistakenly think it's primarily the exhaust just blowing through. ![]() |
