Just bought Echo number 3

I really like the economical aspects and the bulletproof reliability of the Toyota Echo, my previous two got sold around the 250kms mark not because they needed anything but i just couldnt believe they could run that long with no problems.
New one is an 03 sedan in mint condition with a mere 100K kms Always garaged, i asked the girl selling it if she had a repair history on the car and she laughed and said theres never been anything to repair//

Here she is.She accepted $4K for her little creampuff//

Nice. Always loved the way the Echo looked, moreso than the Yaris. Wish I had one....

Wise move IMO. I wish you success with this car!

The only thing though... these cars have an amazing history of trouble free operation but that is over the first ten years. Now we're on the SECOND ten years for these cars.

There are bound to be failures like water pumps, alternators, and sensors.

My thinking is that you just fix these things as they happen and keep running the car...

When I sold my sons 2000 ECHO with ~200k on it there were at least 12 people interested in the car, most of them Hispanic. Three or four of them practically BEGGED me not to sell it to someone else.
