Performance parts
Anyone know of any readily available performance parts/mods ( prom chips etc.) other than TRD for the 06?

you can always do a turbo kit from greddy made for the xa/xb and modify it.

Rear disc brakes
I heard about someone in BC doing a swap on an Echo to the Vitz rear disc brakes(I think it was an option on the Vitz RS). I can't find the site again, but does anyone know if there is a swap for the Yaris now? The swap has its pro's and con's, I know. Better stopping power, but you have higher and more expensive maintenance. With the drum brakes the parts are a little less expensive and you don't have to perform a brake service as often. I'm just throwing this one out to see if it's possible or not yet.

As for Vitz rear disk brakes, only RS is normal setting. I am not optional.
However, I cannot choose to be other grade. I am glad if I can help all of you because I have an image of Vitz rear disk brakes. Is not an image picked up on here? I pick up an image of Vitz rear disk brakes on Photo-Video-Media Gallery. VITZ RS is front 15 inches ventilated disk. The rear becomes 15 inches disk. |

rear disk brakes
I'm sorry. I was able to be in tune with here.
It is an image of Vitz rear disk brakes. Other cars can install rear disk brakes of Vitz RS in Japan. I do it depending on a shop, but it seems to be around 1,300 dollars in Japan. |

I talked with a guy who swapped out his Echo rear end with a Puerto Rican Echo rear with discs. He said it was a simple swap but the problem is finding the parts.

I'm still looking into the cost of a brake upgrade, having drums on the rear sucks.

1,300 dollars are the US dollar.
An amount of money when I transplanted it to a compact car of NCP1♯ of Toyota car. An amount of money that I matched a pure part / wage with. There is information with around 900 US dollars in a cheap shop. I think that I am very large even if I make it whichever. |

Most of the xA/xB parts will fit, same 1NZ-FE.
The rear disc is a nice option, but will be expensive & hard to install. |

That is still too much for disk brakes. Will the disks in the rear really help??
