2008 sedan belt
I have a 2008 sedan and when I start it whether hot or cold it tends to squeal. I've also noticed that it squeals when the rear defroster is on or the headlights o the fan. When I'm driving and am on the gas this tends not to happen. But if I let off the gas while in motion or the car is just sitting and running it will start squealing and the headlights will dim. However if I give it some gas the squealing will stop. The car has a new belt on it just for reference. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

You prob just need to adjust it. But if it slipped so much that it glazed, then you need a new belt (again).
Stay away from dayco belts...

Sorry I'm not much of a mechanic what would need adjusted? And what kind of belt would you recommend?

The drive belt may need to be adjusted. Your machanics would be able to do that.
