Male/Male wire instead of adapter for pioneer 4900?
I plan on buying a pioneer 4900 head unit which has a rear aux port for the ipod. I understand you have to buy the $30 adapter to connect the ipod to the new head unit. Well can't I use my normal male/male wire that i currently use to connect my ipod to the yaris aux port in order to connect the ipod to the new head unit?

If you really want to use your wire, you could probably run the other end to the back of the deck and hook it up directly as if the iPod were a Zune or portable CD player. |
