wiring LED's to footwell lights
So I know there's several good DIY's on how to put in various LED kits, but I couldn't see an answer to this in any that I read. I'm planning on putting footwell LED's in soon and was wondering if anyone has tapped in to the power supplying the stock lights? I haven't even checked if the wattage would be the same, but initially there's already the issue of would the power cut out when you closed the doors (so the stock lights automatically turn off).

Any 12v led will work. I have mine matching all the rest of the led lighting, except the dome light

oh, my foot well lighting is a teal color, or close enough. other leds in air vent, cubbies, cup holders are the same color, (Icy Blue from eBay). This all matches close enough to my EDM digital speedometer cluster.
