Lowering your car for gas mileage?

i was curious if anyone that has lowered there car got any increase in gas mileage? it sounds good anyways, more aero-dynamic = less fuel...

yeah but you have to spend $150 for springs, how long will it take to break even on that initial investment?

Yeah - i had to lower the car because it looked like some less than functional front wheel drive dune buggy without it - you could run over a family of garden gnomes carrying fishing poles in a "pre-lowered" Yaris and they wouldnt notice anything but a breif moment of shade and a quick breeze.

yeah, somewhat improved mileage would be an extra bonus, but not the main reason to do this...
