2zr swap - speed sensor from ABS
Hi all,
I've finally got my 2zr into the Yaris, just figuring out the last piece of the puzzle. The typical wisdom for the speed sensor is to get it from the transmission sensor, the route via three wires (pink, black and white/black) into the connector in the fuse box. However my yaris transmission doesn't have the VSS sensor, so I've followed brushforhire's thread and tapped into the ABS connector (pin4). Before I get carried away I want to confirm if I take the wire I've added to the ABS connector and route this into the fuse box connector (same as where the pink VSS wire would go into the fuse box connector)? Hopefully the pics clarify my question. I have teemed through the wiring diagrams, but considering I'm using Australian Yaris and Corolla books with the US Scion diagrams - I am bound to get something wrong so wanted to seek wisdom from you all first. Thanks in advance! ![]()
