progress technology springs

ya'll think these are any good?

and can anyone show me a pic of their car if they have the same lowering rate as this? hell if it looks good i'm probably going to pick up a set

http://www.trdsparks.com/displaypart...&parts_id=1465

now here's the biggie, i've done work like replacing starters and working on engines but i have never touched suspension. Are we talking about some light reading, a bit of car know how, then have at it?

Or do you think i should just go to my toyota dealership and ask them to install it? which they'll probably charge me up the ass for.

Check out Chris07lb he has a DIY for the front and back spring install.

Here ya go:

http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...ght=DIY+Spring

I followed it and had them done front and back in less then 2 hrs. The rear is cake and the front is not to bad. People on here such as myself are using Tanabe NF which is a like stock ride with a drop of 1.2 inch I believe. The Tanabe DF's drop it more but are stiffer which is probably the height those will drop ya. Just do a search for Tanabe DF pics. PM C2AUTOSPL for prices if you are intersted or their website is www.c2autospl.com . Also TRD springs and Tein are a big hit on here.

Ya, suspension work is simple stuff - but it can get complex and need special tools, but just struts and springs just need a couple sockets. Simplier than starters and engine work - self contained systems, no electrics or fluids to mess with.
