Since the last time I signed onto Yarisworld, my boyfriend of 5 years proposed to me and I said yes :)

The wedding is going to be on Halloween, 10/31/09.

I'm ecstatic and just thought I'd share!

Good for you! I will never forget the thrill of asking my woman to marry me. Write your own vowels and remember they are not just words, but promises to each other. If you and your man are not willing to give 110% of each other then it will not work. Anything worth having (including marriage) is something you are willing to work for each and every day as you will appreciate it even more. If you are blessed with children you will then know what it is all about.

congratulations!!!

i'm in the wedding planing process also(09/06/08) and its crazy. my fiance and i are trying to do everything ourselves and its really hard sometimes. but we won't have it anyother way.

awesome date btw.

Our reception's going to be a Costume Party. Not a cheesy one though. It's going to be sort of themed around the movie Halloween. We're even going as far as having everyone throw pumpkin seeds at us, instead of rice.

Hehe, I'd actually love to do that!! But I think my fiance wants to visit Greece! I'm half Greek and I've never been there, so it would be a great place.

double that. everybody is telling us where we should go because they went there and it was great and blah blah blah, and i really dont care. i'm not sure where i wanna go, prob. Spain since i got family out there and i have never been there, but i'm not sure.

so go/do whatever will make the 2 of you happy. forget about everybody else

Congradulations! Sounds like a cool wedding. So are you going to invite Yarisworld?

WHOOO ! Congrats on being engaged! I myself don't think I'm ready to be married yet personally. But I want kids.. does that make sense? HAHA Anyway, just remember to not be doing it all the time on the honeymoon.. actually go out and like explore and whatnot lol. CONGRATS again! I'm a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding coming up next year. there's so much to do it's crazy. ENJOY
