No payments for about a year?
I canceled a couple of services like gap, warranty, and road hazard which totaled about $3000. They told me canceling the services wouldn't reduce my payments but I was wondering would that mean i don't have to make payments for about a year up to the $3000?

You will still have to make the payments. Basically it will "shorten" the term of the loan and it will be considered being paid off early.
The only way to change payments is to have the entire thing re-financed with a new loan.
