but that show is geared toward heavily modified cars. A stock or nearly stock yaris would be kinda out of place.

I went this year, both days - and that was not my experience at all. It was an awesome place to visit, but only the vendor booth cars were wildly modified.

A caravan to a destinaton/people gathering would probably be smaller in overall scale, but would be more inviting to the average Yaris owner. Finding a location that has camping would also be cool (drinking by a camp fire is one of my favorite things). The trick would be to find a location that is not already booked.

actually you know what half is PURE CRAP and one half of the other half is Ok and the other half are kick ass looking cars, so if we getr the Yaris there we can be part of the "OK's" lol or even better the "kick ass"

Jumpman, in order for this meet to work and no confusion/jealousy amongst members...we will need a new thread for location...since this thread covers the month of the meet.

This way, "why" and any other members can contribute directly through polls...

It all depends on what you're looking for, there's the Arch of course, River boat tours, the Anheuser Bush brewery is popular as is Grant's Farm, Cardinals baseball (yuck), Blues hockey (yeah), and of course Rams football.

It's a big city, lots of dance clubs, pubs and even line dancing and bull riding if you're into that sort of thing. And then if you head to the other side of the river (what we call East St. Louis), there are the strip clubs ... which my significant other would not let me go to.

Also, on the Illinois side there is a race track, crash derbies are also kind of fun if you haven't seen one before and there are horse races at Fairmont Park. I don't guess many would be interested, but the Cahokia mounds are very cool if you're into ancient native American civilizations.

Going back to the Missouri side, we do have quite a few outdoor paint ball areas. How many days is the event expected to last?

You can ride the arch (must do in STL), we could all arrange a group tour of the Anheuser-Busch Brewery... who doesn't like beer?! hehe There is amazing musuems and night life, great BBQ restaurants and other dining places - but while in STL I'd be interested in trying their hometown BBQ to see if it compares anything to what we have here ;)

The musuem of transportation is there - that would be pretty cool.

We can get group deals on a lot of stuff if it was like a well planned and pre-paid thing, it would be pretty bomb. This meet has hella potential.
