I should post some pictures of my install... when I stop being lazy.

Derek, I remember when you first started your speaker project, I hope that someday you are able to finish... remember... there is always home theater too.

My prediction is that in about 4 to 6 weeks Derick will decide that mids in the kick panels is still not cool enough for a perfect stage and will start to move his driver's seat to the middle-of-the-car position like in McLaren F1 ))

Come on D! More spurring...

I've set up my driver's side of the trunk for prep. I'll be taping tomorrow. I'd say on Friday, I may lay down the first layer for the left side.

I don't think my other half would let me do that to the Sienna (still working out, maybe next week)

I remember too! I just wanted to put a small woofer in the trunk and be done!
Now I can't go back, I got to the point where my car sounds much better than all home theaters I've been exposed!

The combination of my IDQ700.2 amp with 175watts x 2 powering the 7" HAT L6s is phenomenal!
It's literally unbelievable the amount of bass that they produce, there is a lot of music from 40Hz to 160Hz that is so hard to achieve in a car, it makes a huge difference, sounds BOLD compare to what I was used to. I feel the shock wave in my feet, pretty cool.

Yes please post some pictures!

I thought about that too, but Time Alignment does it for me! even when I don't see the MIDs, stuck down there, every thing feels up in the middle of the dashboard almost at the end of the windshield, It's like 3D movies, but instead of watching in 3D, you hear in 3D.

Still would like to learn more about a 2 seating position versus 1 side only.

Lucky man, I'm still working on the other project... at least I narrow it down to 1 color...

Predawn Gray Mica and AWD it's a must for New England.

On my end, I've removed the glass shells from the trunk and am starting the build up and panel separation process. You saw the pics of the trunk on my FB didn't you?

It looks like I can put two ID8 V3 D4 subs in the glovebox/footwell area and have 1 cube of space with a common chamber setup. This means those little 8"s will feed down to 20 Hz at the 3dB downpoint. Thank gawd for EQ control! 18 Hz notes off 8"s, here I come with no subs in back and a truly complete front stage.

Thank you for your inspiration with the I6SW!

The new year can't stop me! I just got off the phone with a gentleman who is producing a custom distrobution block for the new setup.

I have a conceptual drawup of the piece. Nice thing about it is that not only is is custom CnC'd but it'll be covered by lexan. I'm thinking about lighting the cover...

I'm thinking 4500 to 5K on the Carolla for trade in in fair condition.

What do you think?

^Lexan top on this bad boy. It'll be waiting for me after CES.
