Micro Image forums, online store and shop are now closed. It was a great eight year run, but it was time to focus on other things. I'm still selling parts on eBay under micro*image seller ID and customers can still make requests for anything specific.

Hey disco, can you post a pic of your intake? Maybe if we can see it, we can help you figure out how to make it work. I admire that you're adventurous enough to try to make one up. I just measured the outside diameter of the two intakes I have:

Weapon R 57mm
Simota 59.5mm

Both work fine, and the difference might be the wall thickness of the tubing. I'll need to disassemble them to get the more accurate inside measurements. How your MAF sensor is positioned relative to the center of the tubing is important. Maybe spacing it up or down will help. I'm taking the intakes apart today to get a better fit on the throttle body so I'll take some measurments and let you know.

The ID of my PRM Jetstream intake is 2.25".

I wont be able to get a pic until Sunday or Tuesday now as im back on shift :(

As for positioning, I'm pretty sure it was well centred, if I remake one ill make sure its positioned as good as I can.
