Your options would be to either switch the ECM to a US spec one or use an aftermarket cruise control system.

CTScott,

I sent you a couple PM's but the forum isn't showing that I've sent them. Let me know if you've received them.

They were regarding parts availability for cc install on my 2007 S Sedan AT no power.

Hi all..

My cruse control stopped working last night on the way home, and so I removed the switch, and took it apart, and low and behold, the ON/OFF pushbutton wires, one broke off its solder point.

Stripped the wire a bit, and re soldered, and bingo! back in business..

regards

Interesting. I haven't heard of that happening yet, but there is always a first. Thanks for sharing, as I am sure you will not be the last.

Any idea how difficult or whether this would be possible on the 2015 model? I did it once before on the 2007 model but I have no idea how much different the 2015 model might be. Would the connectors even be the same?

Great, thank you. Did you use the same instructions as the 2012 model?

The 2015 is the same as far as the stalk goes and does not require any additional wiring, like your 2007 did. If it is a MT, you will need a clutch switch as well.

Hello guys quick question, I have looked through the diagrams and I cant seem to find the cable that attached to the Cruise Control Clutch Switch (Required for all Manual Transmission Yaris): 88280-14030. Can anybody help me out with the part number of that cable?

thank you

No need - The cable is part of the harness, so it is already present on your car. Look up above the clutch arm and you will see the white connector taped to the harness above it.

I have a 2011 liftback MT, no power. According to your guide, there is no need to add wiring from the ECM to steering column for all liftbacks 2009-2011.

Someone asked earlier in the thread if the cruise would work for this particular model and you answered he needed to add the connector D3 pins and run wire to the ECM.

I am confused. Will I need to run the wire or will it be plug and play ?

Thanks again for you time !

My guide is correct for your car. The other person did not have the same...

I have a Canadian 2008 sedan I bought a kit online years back it only works for the first 5 to 10 minutes of driving the Yaris and then stops working like I can get on to the highway set it at 100 and it will hold there till I hit the brakes.. but the switch stops working like no exceleration or deceleration you can't even turn it off or cancel with the stock so I'm lost on why it's doing this anyone have some insight?

I tried sending a pm and it did not seem to work so just posting here...
