That's my man! I was drinking 3-5 Sprites a day, but gave it all up for organic Lemonade. I go through about a gallon of the stuff every 2-3 days now.

I still drink lots of water as well, about a gallon a day.

please tell me you'll drink tap water, I used to buy 7 gallons of water a week and it was a bitch, I keep a jug around and fill it from the tap everyday so I can monitor my daily consumption which is a bit more than a gallon

At home I use the cold tap on the refrigerator which has its own filter, and at work I use a filtered tap (and sometimes some ice cubes made from the same water).

I don't drink my water chilled though. Room temp only unless I'm eating out they always give you all that damn ice, burr.

Tired of buying jugs of water

I'm considering buying a faucet mounted water filter but I read many reviews where people complain about the filters not lasting very long or the filter leaks. I'm tired of carrying and storing the gallon jugs and I think I could save a bit of money by going to a filter system. Anyone have a faucet mounted filter system? What brand and how happpy are you with it?

By the way...I usually drink Diet Pepsi or Diet Mt. Dew.

My dad uses Pur. I have no idea how long filters last or anything but I don't remember having issues with it at all. I'm happy with it.. it def. makes the water taste better to me

Hubby used to be in the soft drink biz: the best water filters are the in-line, under-the-sink type. More expensive to buy & install, but filters better (removes more junk) & cartridges last longer.

I refuse to drink soda - All those frikkin bubbles just make me want to puke. Fruit juice, watered down just a little to allow for the fact that it is not watered enough at the factory when they "reconstitute" the concentrate so you'll drink more.
I also hate water on its own if there is any alternative. Bottled water is just a rip-off, so I avoid that.
In general, then, I am pretty much dehydrated most of the day

I've cut out caffeine, so if I drink soda, it's usually a Diet Squirt (when I can find it) or a Diet 7UP. I don't drink much soda, though. Mostly water, coffee, and beer.
