Did you Vote Today

With this being one of the most historic elections, it is important that everyone does.

The reason I post this, is for those who don't vote, you are letting others choose for you.

I thought we were going to be early but there was a nice line. It was fun waiting in the rain.

We dont have a damn choice anyway. Osama, I mean Obama, is going to destroy McCain. We should all just accept it now and go on with our lives.

Voted 2 weeks early. If you don't vote you don't have the right to talk. So use it or loose it.

Of course I voted! OBAMA 2008!

Anybody who CAN vote, but chooses not to is just plain stupid, and I am more than happy to have made the decision for them!

technically, everybody is letting somebody choose for them (electoral college)... and quite frankly, the founding fathers made the electoral college because they knew that everybody SHOULD have the right to vote, but that not everybody was educated/wise enough to vote. I think they were spot on!

So... I find it somewhat funny that there is such a big, "go out and vote, its your duty" push.... I mean... frankly, there are many people that I DO NOT want to vote.... because if you only think about politics once every four years, you are most likely not going to make a decision that has a positive impact on society.... or yourself for that matter.

So.. for the people who fit in that category... and most of which will not know who they are... I sure hope they don't vote.

Some hefty chick from Jersey cut in front of me in line, then dithered about with her ID docs because she just come into the area. She looked Goth, which was a plus but was chilly.

In way of payback I hovered over her and sniffed around. Might as well enjoy the wait, right?

I voted in mid afternoon, no lines, no hassles no waits aside my new friend from Jersey. Machine worked just fine. Save Barr and a few other Libs most of my candidates won.

I voted for the winner ("that one") and I have never been more thrilled. Congrats & hats off to you, President-elect Obama. It has been an amazing journey for you, and for our country. I have never felt more proud to be an American as I do right now. So very inspiring. You're an amazing man, Barack Obama.

The word 'can't' no longer exists in this country.
