I got the one from ToyotaPartsStore earlier this week. They sent me the one for the sedan though so I'm waiting on a prepaid return label so I can send it back. The deflector has four metal clips attached to it that the lip of the hood slides into. Not sure what the long term effect on the paint / surface of the hood is where the clips will be gripping.

How do these OEM Toyota ones attach?

Did he indicate why he's been MIA around here for 2 1/2 weeks?

That's better than the metal clips on the visor I got. A solution though would be to get small strips of the same material used in clear bras and put these strips on the areas / spots the metal clips would go. This would provide a better grip for the metal clips and would reduce chances of any damage they might do to the hood.

I got them today, and they look great!

These are OEM Toyota hood deflectors!

I'll have a post up tonight in my vendor forum, with pricing. (I have to figure out what I paid per unit including shipping from CANADA!)

I want to see how they look on a car that has the eyelids...I'm worried it would break up the look of the front....

though I like the idea of a deflector..have to keep her looking hot, you know.

cali, if possible can you put up a download-able / viewable version of the installation instructions on the item's page? I'd like to see how it's installed.

Also, pictures of any included mounting hardware / accessories would be nice as well. It's always good to see what you're getting into when you buy stuff like this.

I just took my 09 LB into the Toyota Dealership Yesterday. For side window visors a rear bumper protector and a hood deflector it was 269.00$ and the dealership installed everything Canadian. Next purchase is the carbon fibre Dash kit and an exaust tip.
