screw it.

well, i was going to go across the river to the south side tonight to look at some used cars (as some place is having a big sale, or something)

i left my house (here on the north side) and wasnt a couple blocks from my house when i noticed an inordinate amount of traffic. hmm, maybe an accident on union street....ill just go around, i thought to myself...

stopped at the local tim hortons (coffee shop for our non-canadian friends (or these days non-border town americans and international folk, but i digress)) to get a coffee. i asked the coffee attendant what the deal was w/ all the traffic.

apparently there was a big enough accident on the westmorland street bridge (the bridge that i was heading to) was closed. AND, apparently i could cross on the OTHER bridge (princess margaret bridge) heading south, but there was an accident on it on the northbound lane.

so screw it. im back at home with my large regular eating a getting-stale raspberry turnover.

guess ill surf the interweb instead.
