At 1/2 a tank.
I have just gotten 157.4 miles for 1/2 a tank. This past weekend alone I probably drove 50/50 city/hgwy.
I don't do too much highway driving during the week anyway. I save it for the weekends, and still not as much. So what do you guys think? 157.4 for half a tank. |

Get a scanguage II and you will know exactly what to think. You will have every mile you drive down to a science. You will hit 200+ for half a tank without trying. The first half goes much slower than the second.

you can't get a good idea of fuel economy by half a tank of gas, it is best to average over several full tanks.

Id love to get a ScanGauge for the practicality of it, all the stats and instant and averaged information it feeds you. Just incredible.
But i dont like the look of it and thus wouldnt want to place it anywhere on my dash. At best, if i got one, Id just want it tucked away in one of the glove boxes so i could pull it out when i wanted to to see what stats I wished to observe at that time. Thats really it. JEm |
