Moon Discs

What do you guys and gals think about some good ol' fashioned Moon Discs on my LB? Silly? It's cheaper than new wheels, and I have always thought they look cool on VW Bugs. The Yar is similarly appealing. I dunno, I'd like someone's opinion/photoshop skills. Thanks.

Someone on here had them. They looked great or at least I thought so. Sorry, I don't remember who.

It was a black LB that had them here. I think on a dark colored LB that's slammed, Moon Dishes and some white walled tires would look cool.

I could dig it. It's not that expensive. Do it! Let's see.

Yarisworld went through a moon disc phase about 2 years ago. I actually still have a set of 14" discs in my attic that are painted black and all scratched up. For the record, they looked awesome. I say do it.

I had a buddy here in Portland that had them. I had them on my xB; I bought them from eBay for about $40 shipped.

My wife did the discs and I did the patchy tint job. About as well as I would have done in real life. Thanks, Photoshop.

If I didn't have wheels, I'd install those full discs in a heartbeat!

I was thinking on gettign a set for the 14"stockies and also a set of trim rings to mix it up during the winter months......moonies would look sweet.

Another 5dr. Courtesy of mchllp925. Moon disc's arent my cup of tea. But they do look good, and provide less wind resistance providing more MPG's. Though I dont know if the gain would be noticable.

Chris07LB has a thread somewhere about them too I believe. Hopefully he will hop on and chime in.
