Mine doesn't squeak, but it isn't that sturdy. I'm debating on weather I should secure it better......screws in an inconspicuous spot maby.

Funny, the arm rest in the first Yaris I checked out seemed like a laughably flimsy POS.

i got mine dealer installed and i like it. only thing is i dont think it is adjustable, and it sits just about an inch too far back and i cannot rest my elbow on it while driving. still a good buy, passengers love it and everytime my hand comes off the wheel i use it.

Glad to hear for the most part that everyone likes the arm rest...I just ordered my hatchback with one, so I guess I'll see how it works out.
