No wonder GM goes bankrupt...
last night i was stopped at a traffic light, 3 hondas (one fit, two civic), 2 toyota (a corolla and my yaris), 1 hyundai (old elantra), 1 subaru impreza 2.5RS...
2 other honda (2 civics) pass by and another toyota (99' sienna) pass by. then finally, a hummer stops behind me.. |

it was an H2.
but seriously, people buy Kia instead of GM. Think about it, what are the chances you see 2 same year Cavaliers, same trim, same colour going in the same direction? The more i think about it, i've never seen that happen in my life. But you see the number of times you see identical civic, corolla, yaris, PRIUS down the road?? The number of times 2 old EG6 civic drive through the same intersection is more likely than 2 brand new cobalt. Sad, but it is the truth. |

Actually around here I see way more Cavilers than Honda/Toyotas ect. But nationwide you're right.

It's been like that all around for GM vehicles for years. Though I have to say my last car (Saturn, part of GM in US market) was 11 years old and still ran great. Japanese parts I reckon lol

Right now, I think I'd buy any Kia product of a GM product. Not because of reliability issues, but because they don't offer a single car that I'd really like.

Face it, a mall cruiser is a mall cruiser. They're too expensive to take off road. And way too expensive to fix when you break them.
Put lockers on an old wrangler, lift it and tear it up. You'll have superior flex and you won't be worrying about that precious paint job. |

i think it really depends on where you are in the country. here in the midwest, domestics still are VERY popular(mainly due to deep-discounting, i think). i see cavaliers(many modified) everywhere around here, although i'm starting to see more yarii in the area. in my neighborhood alone there are at least half a dozen hummers and i know this because nobody can park theirs in the garage
