Joyful scene, no camera...

Driving home yesterday, and there it is: the local spoiled brat's new bright red Nissan sports car (300Z?), inches away from a phone pole on the wrong side of the road. Soon the parade shows up (cop cars, wrecker, his buddies, etc), and me, laughing fit to be tied.

This little snot's daddy bought the car for him. His mom insured it for him. His only contribution was to drive it like a maniac, passing on double lines, racing everything in sight, and generally trying to kill someone. Luckily, he crashed before he succeeded. Car is a write-off (sorry, daddy), mommy's insurance is now stratospheric (sorry, mommy), and his license is gone for awhile.

I'm not a religious person, but for a little while yesterday, I knew that there is a God.......

Or Karma I'm not usually a hateful kind of person, but I definitely smile a little bit inside when people get what they deserve.

Hopefully the kid is okay, though.

That's why a first car for anyone under 25 should be an old beater or a Yaris... can't cause tooooo much damage with these... unless you're really trying...

i live like 20 miles from idaho, and they do have a little bit more than just potatoes... did you know that they used to have the neonazi central in idaho(luckily they had to move it to alabama after the leader died) this also explains why mel gibson has a house in idaho though... remember his incident with the cops while he was drunk?

My long-haul buddy went through Idaho, along with most other States, and tells me that Idaho is the only place where he saw a gun rack on a forklift...

New info has it that he and his buddies are now license-free. The joy continues!

And, oh yes, the little snot is fine. Had he started his stupidity 30' farther on, that phone pole would have changed that. They say that God looks over children and the really stupid, so he was doubly covered.
