Subcompact dream garage
I know most people probably don't use the word "subcompact" and "dream" together often, but I do! I was thinking of some of the subcompacts I'd love to obtain someday. Here's my list:
1. 1980s Dodge Colt GTS/Mitsubishi Mirage Turbo 2. Early 1990s Suzuki Swift GT 3. Subaru Just 4WD 4. Toyota Starlet (w/built 3TC or 4AGE) 5. Chevy Sprint Turbo Also on Subcompact Culture: http://tinyurl.com/o5lnh9

I'd go with:
Abarth Fiat 500 and 1986 or 1987 Omni Shelby GLH-S' (over 14 psi turbo with the stage ll module) Last edited by KCALB SIRAY; 08-18-2009 at 03:39 PM. |

1) Opel Corsa OPC 2) Renault Turbo 5 3) Chevy Sprint Turbo

Perhaps it's a generational thing, but none of the 70s or 80s subcompacts really stand out to me. When I think of small, my personal musings are fixated on Austin Healey Sprites, MG Midgets, Triumph Spitfires, and Minis.
