1.8 L with 140 HP and electric motor assist should make it go like hell.

Yeah i been looking at this car. This is the car i really wanted to get but couldnt wait till late 2010 so ended up getting the yaris isntead.

New rumor is Fit motor, no hybrid... They already killed something worth while.

Just throw a SI K20 motor in it, and finally make another sports hatch.
Then I might buy it, pending it handles decent, if it handles like a Fit, no sale.
