Cool Das Alpine KCE-400BT Blue Teeth Install

Eh hem...This was probably the easiest and most worthwhile upgrade I've made in quit some time.

It was extremely simple, 4 wires that I chose to solder instead (of course), Run the Mic, plug a cable from the unit to the HU and SHAZAM, Blue Teeth.

The iPod input is for older HU's & My phone is in the pic for comparison purposes. This thing is tiny and I love it, it fits perfectly inside the console although it is getting tight in there.

The Mic was put right inside the extra din slot which works out perfect.

Works great so far & has received amazing reviews yada yada.

Nice, about time alpine made a bluetooth piece that works(cuz now they have parrot make it for them). The previous bluetooth add-ons(bt200, 300) had dismal performance.

Yea I had heard how everyone was wanting to know if the new one is better, and its pretty awesome. Right now the only weak link is my super crappy phone but that will be fixed soon.

If this is compatible with my current Alpine deck I may pick it up. It would be nice to do BT audio streaming from my Droid.

That's really cool! I'm gonna have to look into that when I'm able to afford it (the bluetooth kit AND the phone)

I stopped being lazy and relocated the mic to the visor where it should've been in the first place

Did you have to pull down the A Pillar trim? If so, how did you go about removing it?

I just put some electrical tape around a flat head screw driver and wedged it between the top of the pillar and the grey seal thing then popped it out
