Huge Yaris Meet??

There is no easy way to do this. I live in Baltimore and would have to drive for days if this is in Colorado. If you want us to bring our cars the meetup should be somwhere centrally located, like Lebanon, Kansas.

Anyone suggesting Kansas has obviously never been to Kansas. I think anyone looking at a map can very easily tell it's the center but I still think it'd be better to pick a state to either side of it. Even if that means Missouri and not Colorado.

On the other hand if people are gonna take this seriously and do it then they should expect to possibly have to drive for days. This isn't Maldives island.

suck it up, im coming from canada. the other thing i was thinking so we dont get too bored of the long drive we have lots of little meets on the way and drive down together.

specifically for me coming from Ontario to colorado (just as an example) i have to go through michigan, indiana, illinois, iowa, nebraska then finally colorado. im hoping to meet up with lots of ppl on the way and get there all together.

missouri would be another good place (alot closer for me) but is there anything to do there?

so i google mapped it and it takes the same amount of time for u to drive to colorado as it takes me.

but what we need to figure out is where our options to meet are. i believe so far is kansas, colorado or missouri? we need to decide on this before we can decide when to make the meet. lets get a poll of the possible locations and settle that.

Oklahoma City is right on I-40 for you east and west guys, and I-35 for you North and South guys. :) (Too bad there's nothing to see here)

Hey lets decide on these options:

St. Louis, Missouri
Des Moines, Iowa
lets trow out there San Antonio Texas
Colorado, Springs

If you want to add another city let me know. Ill give this 2 days and then ill open a poll with cities and states to vote

Crystal City, VA has a huge biker meet on Memorial Day weekend. No reason why a Yaris meet should not work in June or July. I went to a special event one summer and there are tons of fancy hotels. This is near the Pentagon and just outside our nation's capitol. I guess it is too far east for most of you. Just another idea, you don't have to accept it.

So you don't wanna have to drive very far but you want people on the west coast to literally drive the full length of the US. Yeah that's sounds reasonable. Why don't we just go ahead and have it at your house.

and none of its obligatory, especially if we're all in a hotel we can just hang out make friends etc hell maybe even get discounts on sweet parts if Garm shows up :)

If you guys factor in mountain runs and ripping up the canyons, take into consideration the can of worms that could open up. Following the ground rules of any planned and organized event, safety is the MOST important issue with any event. The organizer is putting themselves at great risk in the event something happens to someone under the direction or leadership resulting in an accident. Don't get me wrong, if the OP wants this to be as big as he wants it to be, he needs to think everything through and these are the most important issues. It sounds like he wants it to be more than just a hand full of cars gathering in a parking lot of a Chick Fi La. With tracks and courses comes insurance to back it up in case of problems.

I love the ideas coming in here, OJ is a great guy and I'm sure he can make this happen for all of us. I love the Colorado idea myself.
