Yaris-differences in suspension

I've got a question that the guys at my local dealership can't answer. I've had two Yaris Hatchbacks, an '07 and now a '10. My '07 had very tight rear suspension with hardly any body-roll while cornering. Now, my '10 has very squishy rear suspension, and the rear of the car actually sits lower than the front. So my question to them, and to you is, what has changed between '07 and '10. I want this Yaris to handle like my first one, so I'm gonna fix what's been changed. Thanks for your response in advance.

As far as I know nothing has been changed in the suspension. It might just be your specific car might have been sitting on it's rear wheels for a long time on a slope perhaps in transport. Regardless, better cornering is nothing a rear sway bar can't fix!

I believe someone on here said that the holes where you can bolt the rear suspension arms into, they don't have threads on the newest Yarii's. That's about all I know is different in suspension terms.

I bought the '07 and '10 both new, and did nothing to either. They were both stock. I believe they both had sway bars listed as being on the cars but my new one is way too squishy for that to be true.

I'd have someone go over the rear suspension then. A dealer if it is under warranty because something could be broken back there. There is no reason for the handling to not be identical if everything is ok.

If the rear is sitting lower than the front, then there is something pretty wrong there. Blown or seriously worn shocks? Bad springs?

I can't think of any Yaris HB I've seen that sits lower in the back on the stock suspension. Mine didn't do that with 500 lbs of potting soil. It was at best, level. Man that back was planted though!! [/awful pun]
