Dash part became unseated - Toyota Yaris Forums

Hello gang

2007 Sedan

See the attached. The air vent/hazard light/odo black part became unseated and fell into the console a bit

Used needle nose to get it a bit closer to being seated.

Not sure how I can "remove" the console to properly seat it. Any suggestions ?

The trim around the stereo and climate control knobs just pulls off. Start at the bottom and work your way up. They might be kind of stiff to get off, but the clips are sturdy so don't worry about breaking them, just pull straight out. The last piece is the one around the gauge cluster. Pull it out and then look at the bottom. There are some finger-like tab things that need to hook into the stereo bezel. They are what is keeping it from being completely seated now. Just slide the piece back into place and make sure it fits flush. You can find posts with pictures all over if you need them. Just search.
