Your rear emblem look good with the black backing... is that from another car?

Thanks. I had to throw that one in even though the car was dirty since the colors came out pretty good.
It's actually a carbon fiber trim kit that goes inside the emblem. |

Love your car, but the background looks Photoshop blurred. Doesn't look natural.

wow!! nice pics!
but like yarisugi mentioned, something seems a bit off with those blurred pics. I think it's the fact that the reflections on the car are in focus, they should be blurred too, but good luck with that!

I don't really like the background and kind of get into a habit of doing that. There were a few that I left alone. Some aren't really a big change though.

Understanding the "depth of field" when taking a picture will help improve your shots dramatically. Make sure you have a tripod as well. Lots of good reads with pictures on depth of field. One example. Another There are a several videos about it as well. Example Last edited by yarisugi; 01-28-2012 at 02:44 PM. |

It's a new camera but not a SLR. Haven't tried using any settings besides "auto" yet, lol.

If you can set your aperture on your camera to the lowest F-stop possible, it will make the background/foreground a little blurry.

Took a look at it again and my camera is pretty simple point and shoot, doesn't seem like I can change those settings. Wouldn't really know how to use them anyway.
I appreciate the tips, but one way or another, I still don't like the background in certain pictures and that's why I blur it out. Certain pictures also had foreign objects in them that I took out and used the blur to hide it. Last edited by TOUGEghost; 01-29-2012 at 01:17 AM. |

Sorry, trick question, untouched photo. But you did catch it before I did a ninja edit of my post.

What kind of DSLR does she have? It's pretty easy to use once you get the concepts down. |
