Fucking A Bucky.
Want to know how they work? There are two components. One is basically a fuel injector and hooks to a fuel source. You're literally spraying fuel into your exhaust. The second is a spark source, placed after the fuel source (usually well after). Raw fuel and extreme heat in your exhaust is so bad, I can't even tell you. If you get this done, I'm driving to Fond du Lac and slapping you around. |

There are two types of systems for shooting flames that I know of, Chino mentioned one.
The second makes your engine run extra rich so you have unburned gas in your exhaust. A spark plug ignites the fuel at the exhaust tip. This kind of system is extremely bad if your car has a cat installed. Both ways of doing this are bad IMO, not to mention illegal in most states. It's possible you are talking about seeing cars shoot flames when shifting gears or revving the engine real high and letting off. That's due to a rich A/F and no cats usually. My SE-R shot flames until I tuned it. (Shooting flames this way usually means you have a bad tune.) |

I'm all for it. When you get blown up, try to make sure that your Yarisworld.com sticker is still intact so that the website can get advertising from The Darwin Awards.

I have a happy inbetween for ya... set the Yaris up for duel Exaust, only donot actually hook one up to the exaust, and route some combustable fuel to it, slap a spark plug and coil on the end and BOOOOOOM... bye bye Yaris :)

A had a friend I worked with who had an FC RX7. He had it straight back from the exhaust ports. It would spit a nasty fireball out when he accelerated hard. Once that super heated fuel rich exhaust hit the oxygen in the air it would just make an awesome fireball. Of course the Yaris isnt a Wankel nor has a straight back exhaust.

You want a "misfiring system" like the Emperor Evo?
It doesn't work on a car with factory catalysts.
