RS3200 Plus Security System--Vehicle Intrusion Protection (VIP)

My wife and I have a 2012 Yaris. We noticed that Toyota’s brochure for the 2012 Yaris mentions the Vehicle Intrusion Protection (VIP) RS3200 Plus Security System. The dealer was willing to order and install the part but could not find the part to order it for a 2012 vehicle. The part was listed for 2011 and before. Does anyone know anything about this feature for the 2012 Yaris?

Thank you very much.

check how much the dealer wants. I think I've seen $1000 or so quoted for installation and the parts. Totally insane.
this might help, not sure.

For reals. I was quoted $650 for the RS3200+. That's garbage. I purchased for $120 shipped but have yet to install it.

I don't know if it would work though but it should be the same...

Yikes, that's cheaper than TRD Sparks, and they are my go-to parts guys!

I have this security system on my 10 liftback..Is this suppose to make a sound when you arm it like a normal alarm?
