Tanabe Medallion install?

I'm assuming it's going to be as simple as removing two bolts and the various exhaust hangers and reversing the process.

Anything I should be aware of before I tackle it this afternoon?

After removing the two bolts, I sprayed the rubber hangers with a little Armorall to make the holes slippery enough to nudge them off easily with a screwdriver.

^ That works good, I keep a can of silicone spray lubricant which works well too.

TIP: Don't drive first. (heat)

will probably do it after letting the car cool for an hour or two, a little heat will help the bolts break free ;)

anyone know off-hand what size the exhaust bolts are? that way I can just get under there with the socket I need.

it was a 14mm, thanks Garm. the install was super simple, even easier than my TRD rear sway bar. Literally took like 15 minutes (I took my time). Probably could be done in under 5 minutes if you were in a hurry.

undo two bolts, slip the hangars off...reverse the process.

Awesome video, Capt. Very professional.
I love exhaust sound. It's music, and your Tanabe is a beautifully tuned instrument.

I'm a videographer. Eventually plan on doing a cool demo video of the whole car with music and exhaust notes.

Awesome video!

Good sound quality, and it didn't start with the typical "hey, watch me walk from the back of the car, get in and start it!"

here's an old vid of my Miata with OBX duals, probably the best sounding 4cyl I've owned, of course the Yaris with the Medallion Touring is a really close second.

That's as good as any commercial car ad. The changing formats kept it visually interesting while the sounds flowed it all together. You're very talented, Captain, and it looks like you found your calling.
